Skinningrove, Landscape Photography workshop | North Yorkshire Landscape Photographer

It’s a secret, hidden, north east escape, Its called Skinningrove. It’s also somewhere people don’t really think to photograph or explore. Yet it been one of my favourite places since I was a child. The beach, the sea, the cliffs and the people who live there are amazing in their own right.

Over shadowed by the huge cliffs, Boulby stands at 660 feet, the highest on the East Coast. They give a fabulous backdrop to the surrounding landscape and the other way the gracious Huntcliff with its Fan house standing proud on the edge over looking the beach.

Its a beautiful place to teach photography, The students are always a little hesitant in booking this workshop, but once they attend they are blow back back how good it is.

This workshop had a brilliant group of student each and everyone were amazing and really took onboard what i was teaching and created some really creative photographs.

I always finish the workshop with a coffee and cake at the scrumptious Kaskane restaurant.
