Staithes | North Yorkshire Landscape Photographer
With Covid lockdown feeling more like tie down, I decided to saddle up the camera bag and tripod and head out. Taking advantage of the dark nights.
Staithes is a quaint little fishing village nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National park and steeped in history of smuggling and indeed Captain cook.
It's very local to me and I've run loads of photography workshops there. It's always worth a trip out and it felt spooky, no one around and being there on my own felt a little intimidating.
I loved the images I captured though, I felt I captured the eerie stillness of night in the dark twisted alley ways.
