ABOUT STUART

As a child at the age of 6 I had my first camera. My father and I would head to the loft, our make-shift darkroom, to develop our prints. I remember hanging them out to dry over the bath, struggling to contain my excitement at what they might show. However, things have moved on since those days - photography became my passion and my life.

Having run photography workshops for many years I’ve helped set up and inspire a lot of local photographers, passing my passion for capturing life and the environment on to them. (check out www.discoveryphotography.co.uk – my wedding and portrait photography website)

I’ve had work published in the Times, the Telegraph, and the Daily Mail, covered weddings in all sorts of venues and locations. I don’t think there’s anything I haven’t covered, but I’m always open to new surprises. I’ve been the official Klondike cycle race photographer for three years, many local companies have also booked me for their commercial photography. Such as SAKS, Cineworld and the North York Moors National Park authority.

“I do what I do for the smiles and the light and occasionally a tear, I bring to people’s faces with my photographs”.
