The Workshop Itinerary

1. Introduction to Night Photography

We will kicked off the workshop with an introduction to the world of night photography. Covering topics such as camera settings, long exposures, and composition techniques, you'll gain a solid foundation to build upon throughout the evening.

2. Exploring Scarborough at Twilight

As the golden hour gently fades into twilight, we embarked on a walk through the picturesque town of Scarborough. Visiting iconic landmarks, stunning viewpoints, and hidden gems that come alive in the depths of the night. Along the way, I'll share tips and tricks to make the most of the unique lighting conditions.

3. Mastering Light Trails and Long Exposures

One of the highlights of night photography is capturing light trails created by passing cars and moving subjects. I guided the Students through the process of setting up and executing long exposures to create captivating light trails, adding a dynamic element to your photographs.

4. Post-Processing Tips

No photography workshop would be complete without a discussion on post-processing. I shared my editing workflow, demonstrating how to enhance the night photographs while maintaining their authenticity. The students gained insight into techniques for noise reduction, adjusting exposure, and making the stars shine even brighter.
