I love Robin Hoods Bay, It started with a random night out during the national lockdown. I need to point out I was by myself….. just a random night! Spooky as it was with no one around it was nice to be capturing the the empty street and it encouraged my passion towards the village.

With Covid lockdown feeling more like tie down, I decided to saddle up the camera bag and tripod and head out. Taking advantage of the dark nights.

How fantastic to be back teaching after such a long time waiting of the Covid rules relaxing. A whole new group too, especially in Staithes, such a photogenic little seaside village in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Been contacted straight from our website always brings a smile to my face as we host and design it ourselves. Lee from C.J.Leonards contacted just that way.

Commercial blogs aren't something we get chance to do very often, not because we don't get the jobs, but the images we take tend to have a need to be protected to safe guard the release of a product or a business.

Emma had never modelled before, but proved to have the confidence to stand in front of a group and have her picture taken. It takes quite a bit of guts to stand and pose in front of three photographers especially if you haven't done it before - Well Done Emma!

Today we popped over to Whitby to meet a wedding client and to start the commercial photography for Oak Road Motor factor/Whitby Motor factors. Of course been a beautiful day we had to pop into the Whitby Tea rooms for treacle tart and ice cream.

Supreme plastics contacted us of our website asking us to take some new product images for there promotions material.Based all over the world their, Whitby, North Yorkshire base seems a little out of place, but been local to us it was ideal.

Thank goodness the weather held out. With all the rain we’ve had recently I was worried I wouldn’t be able to run this street photography workshop.

Some places you get pleasurably bored of, the infinity bridge is one such place for me. Ive taught night photography there for over 12 years.

When I was approached by Outwood Academy in Acklam to produce some new promotions images for their school, I felt really proud to be apart of such a great academy.

I’ve always used Margrove ponds to run my workshops at, there are so full of life, from Deer to Coot, Mallards , Dragon Flies and Damsel Flies.

Because they are local it makes my students realise that we are surrounded by wildlife, even on our own door step.
