Robin Hoods Bay | North Yorkshire Landscape Photographer

I love Robin Hoods Bay, It started with a random night out during the national lockdown. I need to point out I was by myself….. just a random night! Spooky as it was with no one around it was nice to be capturing the the empty street and it encouraged my passion towards the village.

This continued for the next year, various nights out capturing different streets and with different friend too.

I love the cobbled street and the way they reflect the light., like loads of little minor solar panels. The secret little back alleyways screaming with stories of smuggling and treachery. The street lights shining and creating menacing dark shadows around each corner.

The very latest trip saw the Christmas lights adding to eh atmosphere, it wasn’t so quiet this time… see to recall a chorus of O whimbo Way O Whimbo way coming from outside the Bay Hotel… looks of christmas revellers.
