Mallyan Spout Waterfall | North Yorkshire Landscape Photographer

This is somewhere I’ve wanted to go for a little while, new locations for my photography workshops are always at the forefront of my mind.

However, so is accessibility too, the path towards the falls is steep with lots of steps. Leading to a path through a small boulder field directly under the falls. This will make the workshops a little more difficult to access.

The waterfall itself I’d describe as a very neat fall, the days previous to me visit were very dry, so presumably during very wet periods the ferocity of the waterfall would be much different and perhaps even make the path more difficult to pass by as the route takes you through the base of the falls.

I’ll be certainly visiting again soon.
