South Gare, Teesmouth | North Yorkshire Landscape Photographer

The still quiet breeze, the silent movement of a ship drifting in to the river Tees. A tern floating on a thermal over head as a flock of Oyster Catchers scream down the beach. South Gare is one of the areas on the North East coast that makes you feel alive. Its steeped in local history and with the fisherman’s huts ad the fish port or Paddy’s Hole its very photogenic.

In the shadow of the, now derelict, blast furnace its always worth a mornings walk.

There always seems to be a new photograph waiting of you when you arrive, I’ve done plenty of pre wedding photoshoots here for Discovery Photography.

The dune system gives a fabulous foreground or in fact back ground, the marram grass blows gently in the wind giving a texture that I find mesmerising.
